Project Controls Professional Entry Level - East Central Region US

Apply Now Our Project Controls team is looking for an Entry Level Project Controls Professional to support the East Central region within the U.S. As part of a larger team, you'll be accountable for timely and accurate input of data, thorough and accurate review and analysis of defined cost and schedule elements, and timely and accurate document production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets, estimates to complete, commitments, expenditures, project progress and productivity, WBS cost coding, subcontracts sub accruals, and change management.
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
- Assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations.
- Support Project Managers with monthly Project Reviews (PRs), and quarterly forecast on projects.
- Provide support to Project Controls staff members as needed.
- Review of expenditure details, identifying incorrect charges, and commencement of the charge correction process.
- Perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and recommend usage of contingency.
- Provide support for project pricing.
- Assure change management systems and processes are implemented and followed.
- Identify potential project problems early, report issues and problems to operations leadership, and work with project teams to address and implement recovery plans.

- BS or BA degree with preference given to a degree in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting or Finance.
- Three to five years' experience within project controls or project accountant related functions.
- Experience creating monthly project cost reports with timely, accurate information.
- Strong knowledge of Excel is required.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
