The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in supporting diverse builds, including education, housing, and commercial projects. Job Description Assist in managing ground-up construction projects from planning through completion Support project teams on scheduling, budgeting, and documentation Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders Track project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets Utilize project management software to maintain accurate records and reporting Help oversee projects valued at $20M+ across sectors such as education, healthcare, and residential Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards The Assistant Project Manager - DC will collaborate closely with senior leadership and site teams Contribute to the successful execution of complex builds throughout the DMV area MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar construction/project management role (preferred) Experience supporting at least one ground-up construction project (required) Background working on apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools, or universities (preferred) Proven experience with projects valued at $20M or more (preferred) Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Sage 300 Timberline, and/or Textura preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field What's on Offer Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000
