Due to complex requirements, remote work is NOT permitted for short or long periods in: CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA and working Internationally (this includes working while on vacation). No relocation, No Sponsorship or transfer of visa for this position now or in the future. Monday through Friday, minimal travel required. Pay Range $63.45 - $95.20
Major Responsibilities:
Adheres to the established enterprise methodologies, practices and procedures for documentation, project management, programming, configuration, change management, testing, deployment and system monitoring to promote accountability within that cultivates a collaborative work environment with our customers and ensures delivery of agreed upon functionality. Defines project scope, budget, goals and deliverables that support the business requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Directs and manages project development from beginning to end including clear and concise timeline expectations to the project team. Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Coordinates resource estimates and participants needed to achieve project goals. Negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the organization when necessary. Manages proactively changes in project scope, budget, project issues, potential risks, and devises contingency plans. Develops and delivers status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, change/risk/issue logs, earned value analysis, meeting minutes and presentations. Manages clinical, business, and vendor resources in a matrix environment working with appropriate management to secure the appropriate resources. Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management. Ensures that all projects have a documented return on investment giving specific details and timelines for that return. Coordinates and ensures that training specific to the project is planned and executed when required. Full alignment with the vision, mission and values of the WFBMC organization are expected in every aspect of this job.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or related field required.
Certification/Registration/License:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma Black Belt obtained within 12 months of hire preferred.
Experience:
Typically, 5 years project management experience, having had responsibility for numerous large successful projects delivered on time, on budget, meeting client requirements, with high team satisfaction, including complex projects, and projects involving a number of project staff and clients. Experience managing multiple large projects with impact across multiple departments. Experience managing vendor relationships and vendor resources preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Significant knowledge of project management practices and methodologies. Significant experience in implementing packaged solutions. Ability to deliver results with little lead-time, professionalism, and customer service skills are necessary at all times. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of leadership in a concise, clear and timely manner.
