Description:
AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Claims Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare or insurance claims processing, project delivery, and Agile methodologies. This role requires dual responsibility as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master, leading large-scale platform modernization and transformation initiatives while managing budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage healthcare/insurance claims-related projects and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Serve as both Project Manager and Scrum Master, ensuring successful project execution and Agile delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, schedules, and executive-level presentations.
  • Manage project budgets, including resource allocation, labor costs, Statements of Work (SOW), infrastructure, and cloud expenses.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technical organizations.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular status reporting and executive updates to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate technical and business discussions to drive decision-making and project alignment.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Support Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall, and Kanban project delivery methodologies as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industry environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Claims Processing and Claim Adjudication.
  • Proven experience managing claims-related projects and programs.
  • Experience leading large-scale platform modernization, transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience serving as both Project Manager and Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall, and Kanban delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing project budgets, resource costs, infrastructure expenses, cloud costs, and vendor engagements.
  • Proficiency in developing project plans, roadmaps, executive presentations, and project reporting.
  • Experience providing status updates, risk management, and issue reporting to senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead technical and business discussions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with Jira for Agile project tracking and management.
  • Experience with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC).
  • Experience with IBM Rational Requirement Composer (RRC).
  • Experience with Clarity for project financial and budget management.
  • Experience using SharePoint, QuickBase, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certifications preferred.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
