You will work with some of the top architects and contractors in Dane County on commercial projects ranging from $25,000 to $500,000+. We are a flexible, family owned company with a relaxed working environment. This position is ideal for new graduates or experienced candidates who are self-motivated, have an entrepreneurial interest, and enjoy performing multiple roles on a daily basis. Individual must be detail oriented, organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of or the desire to learn cabinetry, furniture and architectural millwork is a plus. Benefits include health/dental insurance, paid vacation, 401K as well as a good work/life balance. Monday - Friday 40 hours a week. Compensation is based on experience. After initial training, remote work may be available. Required Skills Ability to read blueprints and specifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook preferred Solid knowledge of architectural components and field construction practices preferred, but will train Entry level candidates & seasoned professional candidates are welcome to apply and compensation will be based on experience Autocad Proficient, Technical school diploma, associate degree or 4 year degree are all acceptable
