Project/ Program Manager (Healthcare)
Location:
New York City, NY(Hybrid) Exp Level 10+ Years of min. professional experience required 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience Technical Skills
  • Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
  • Solid work knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, SDLC, Agile/scrum)
  • Project Management Tool (Asana/Smartsheet)
  • Knowledge of Data Architecture, Data flows & ETL
  • Understanding of Healthcare Terminology
  • Understanding of Health Industry tied to Plans, Member & Patient Portal Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Agility and ability to manage concurrent projects and activities across multiple business lines
  • Work with direct to indirect supervision
  • Develops project plans for schedule, resources, and budget. Requires collaboration with Product, Development, Testing, Project Sponsors, Finance, and executives.
  • Coordinates with project teams to identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement; and designs strategies to mitigate or avoid future risks.
  • Monitors and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications and is complete.
  • Compiles and distributes project information, status reports, and portfolio budget expenditure periodically
  • Operational Flexibility to actively engage in continuous improvement of the organization's project management processes and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned to Interact with the senior managers, executives, and major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for an organization
  • Build Project & Portfolio Dashboard
  • Accept and excel at diverse responsibilities assigned by management to drive the organization's mission forward
  • Assists with troubleshooting operational issues, developing solutions and coordinating implementation
  • Provide project management oversight, monitoring, data collection, and analytical support as needed for projects
Education:
Bachelor's Degree - IT/Engineering Preferred Certification PMP and Lean Six Sigma Preferred Other Skills Effective oral and written communication Ability to understand industry specific content Cross-functional leadership trait Problem Solving Mindset Ability to Manage and Lead Projects Learner mindset Negotiation and facilitation skills
