The Design & Selections Coordinator (DSC) owns the client selections process from design agreement through active construction.
Guides homeowners through material and finish decisions, coordinates vendors, maintains project information within Buildertrend, and ensures projects move smoothly from design into construction.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working directly with clients, and capable of keeping multiple projects moving at one time.
Ideal candidate resides in close proximity to East Metro to Hudson area or willingness to regularly commute to those areas to utilize existing showroom relationships.
This role is focused more on organization, communication, and execution than interior design creativity.
Design creativity is welcomed, but we also work hand in hand with Interior Design Firms, Architects, and our own internal staff. Primary Responsibilities Selections Process Ownership Own and or help coordinate all owner selections from design through construction including: Exterior finishes Cabinets and countertops Flooring and tile Plumbing and lighting fixtures Appliances Paint and finish selections Other project-specific selections NCS has existing relationships, timelines, checklists, and processes in place. This person will help execute and improve the process rather than recreate it. Owner Selection Meetings Coordinate and assist owners through selection meetings including: Helping clients make pre-bid selections during design Managing active construction phase selections Helping clients stay on schedule with required decisions Simplifying the decision-making process Buildertrend Management Maintain and organize project information within Buildertrend (project management program) including: Selection tracking Product specifications Due dates Supporting documentation Client approvals
Goal:
Ensure project information remains accurate, organized, and accessible. Vendor Coordination Coordinate with vendors and suppliers including: Scheduling showroom meetings Gathering information and general product pricing Managing product lead times Supporting client communication between vendors and or showroom associates Budget Awareness & Change Communication Maintain awareness of project budgets and allowances while helping owners make informed decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying potential product changes that may impact pricing Communicating impacts to necessary parties Flagging Project Managers for updated pricing or RFIs when necessary The DSC is not responsible for creating or managing project budgets.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
