Strong understanding of flooring, cabinets, kitchen, bath, and interior finishing materials. Ability to design functional and aesthetically cohesive solutions aligned with client goals, budget, and timeline. Proficiency with CAD software for cabinet layouts and 3D renderings. Knowledge of cabinetry, flooring, tile, countertops, and installation processes. Experience preparing detailed, accurate quotes and scope-of-work documentation. Comfort using CRM and ERP systems to manage opportunities, open orders, change orders, and project status. Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage project milestones. Strong sales aptitude with confidence in presenting pricing, options, and design recommendations. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. Clear, professional communicator capable of building trust and long-term client relationships.EXPERIENCE
Experience in interior design, kitchen & bath design, construction, or finishing material sales preferred. Experience in a project-based sales environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships from consultation through installation. Experience working with installers or subcontractors is a plus. Interior design degree not required; practical experience and results are valued.CHARACTERISTICS

The ideal candidate is systems-oriented, disciplined in documentation and follow-through, and proactive in identifying and resolving ordering, delivery, fabrication, or installation challenges. They take ownership of both project outcomes and client relationships with professionalism, urgency, and care.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Sales Consult with clients to understand goals, budget, timeline, and functional needs. Design and sell cabinetry, flooring, tile, window treatments, shower systems, countertops, and related interior finishes. Present selections and pricing clearly, guiding customers toward informed decisions. Create cabinet layouts and 3D renderings using CAD software. Perform in-home consultations, gathering precise measurements and evaluating spaces to inform design solutions. Quoting & Project Preparation Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for customer projects. Ensure selections, measurements, and specifications are complete prior to ordering. Clearly communicate pricing, scope of work, timelines, and change orders. Maintain accurate documentation for all active quotes and sold projects. Project Coordination Coordinate with subcontractors and installers for material installation. Manage project milestones and scheduling in collaboration with warehouse and purchasing. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively manage customer expectations and resolve issues as they arise. Customer Experience, Systems & Organization Guide customers through each phase of the project with exceptional communication. Maintain strong rapport and trust with clients while proactively managing expectations and addressing concerns. Track opportunities, quotes, and active projects within CRM and ERP systems. Maintain accurate records for open orders, change orders, and job status. Ensure smooth handoff to warehouse, billing, and installation teams. Problem Solving & Time Management Troubleshoot ordering, delivery, fabrication, and installation issues. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Maintain organized project files and documentation for scalability and consistency.SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Job Type:
Full-Time, 40+ hours per week Designers generally start their work day at 8:00 AM, with flexibility to conclude their workday between 4:00-6:00pm. Retail hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am- 5:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am to 2:00pm.

$18- $22 an hour plus commission
