We're seeking a Drinking Water & Reuse Project Manager to join our team in any of our Southern California offices (Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego). Someone who can use their vast experience in the water market and apply it to today's challenges. As a valued Jacobs employee, you'll work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water infrastructure projects and programs. You'll join a team of experts in our Water Market and will have the opportunity to grow professionally through participation on project teams delivering challenging projects while serving and developing clients. You'll be at the forefront of strategic business relationships with municipal and regional water clients, ensuring Jacobs is their firm of choice, delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service that help build thriving, resilient communities. You'll support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. Using your expertise and experience, you'll also play an integral role in leading and mentoring staff, helping to grow the next generation of Jacobs water market leaders. LI-AC2 Bachelor's Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering. Licensed CA Professional Engineer At least 15 years of experience in relevant water/wastewater industry Planning and design experience in drinking water and reuse systems, including treatment plants for water and reuse applications. Demonstrated track record of managing and delivering multiple water projects Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, studies, proposals and/or reports. Ability to work a hybrid schedule. Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities. Ideally, you'll also have: A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline Los Angeles/Orange County experience Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the project owner and the design team Experience working with local permitting agencies Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available across Jacobs to gain market share Experience support business development activities with local clients Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
