Duties:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading project teams in the planning, design, execution and commissioning of the company's utility scale renewable energy facilities. The PM will oversee, coordinate, perform and track the planning, implementing, quality control, and status reporting on a given project. This position manages the project team, which typically consists of matrixed roles from all the areas of the organization as well as heavy reliance on outside consultants, engineering firms, and construction firms. The EPC Project Manager is responsible for working with stakeholders to define the project scope; preparing the project schedule, and updating that schedule as it evolves; proposing the project budget, and then managing the project cost and schedule; making sure the project team has the supplies and human resources necessary to get the project done on time and on budget; identifying and minimizing potential risks to the project timeline and budget; making sure that all project team members understand what their responsibilities are; communicating the project's progression to management; and ensuring the quality of the team's work and any supplies or materials used by the team.

The following skills may set you apart: Familiarity and experience with renewable energy (wind, solar, batteries, other) Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Planning, organizational and leadership skills Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentations, meeting facilitation and negotiation Interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients Experience leading complex projects, with impacts to landowners, large energy customers, municipalities, or agencies Demonstrated success in identifying and managing risk Communicating and reporting project status to senior leadership Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Excellent communication skills including conflict resolution skills. Experience with SAP Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6. The successful candidate will be required to routinely travel to Project Sites where work is in the planning or execution phases. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university is required. 7+ years of experience in applied engineering or equivalent working experience, including project management, is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
