ERP Project Manager 12-Month Contract $115 Per Hour Hybrid Working (Boston Based) This is a high-impact freelance programme leadership role at the heart of a complex carve-out from a global medical manufacturing environment. You will shape and lead a multi-phase ERP separation, moving a carved-out business from shared services onto standalone systems under a tight TSA timeline, with real ownership from day one. The Company They are a private equity-backed organisation preparing a newly carved-out medical manufacturing business for independence. Operating across multiple international sites, the business combines regulated manufacturing with complex supply chain and financial operations. The focus is on standing up robust, scalable core systems to support long-term growth. This programme is central to that ambition. The Role and Deliverables Formulate and own the end-to-end ERP programme plan for a full carve-out from a parent organisation. Act as the bridge between the business, process owners, and systems integrator to ensure clear scope, governance, and delivery. Lead a phased ERP implementation with a structured, on-time go-live approach. Drive separation from TSA services within an aggressive 12 to 15 month window. Oversee ERP delivery across finance, operations, and supply chain functions. Manage international stakeholder engagement, including on-site workshops and travel. Your Skills & Experience Strong experience leading ERP programmes in carve-out or separation environments. Deep expertise delivering ERP implementations using IFS, across financial and operational domains. Proven ability to operate at programme director level, shaping strategy as well as execution. Solid understanding of regulated or manufacturing-led environments, ideally within medical or industrial sectors. Comfortable working in hybrid models with periods of intensive on-site delivery and international travel. Confident managing multiple stakeholders across business, technology, and third-party partners.
