Interconnection Process Project Planner

Description Plan, coordinate, oversee and support Engineering Studies related to Generator Interconnection Process. Coordinate with staff and stakeholders, including Transmission Owners, Interconnection Customers, and neighboring entities, to address Resource Interconnection related questions and issues in a timely manner. Review information and data to support and perform statistical analysis modeling and decision making. Top Skills' Details Ability to understand complex issues of a technical and/or financial nature.

• Knowledge of

PSS/E, TARA, DSA

tools and other power flow tools

• Project Management, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO functions
• Understanding

Regulatory Compliance Requirements Skills Project management, PSS/E, TARA Additional Skills & Qualifications 70% technical/30% PM type work. Looking for someone who has enough engineering technical flare to it to understand. PSS/E is the top one for sure. Modeling data within PSSE. Someone doing the inputs to running the studies. Doing quality checks. Understand the technical aspects of PSS/E. Know what goes into a good application. Schematics of Interconnections. Not substation designs. Submitting a generator IA. Somewhat of a new position. His team doesn't necessarily have people with technical engineering backgrounds. Not necessarily folks that catch the data issues. Helping fill that void. Someone who can view these applications and catch bad activity/data issues and help move the process along. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carmel, IN.
