Job Description

Lead Environmental Project Manager at WSP USA in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Pacific Northwest Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting service group. The position is either remote or hybrid working out of our Seattle, Redmond (WA), Bend, Portland or Boise offices. The Project Manager?will be involved in all stages of a project's life cycle (i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closure) leading environmental assessment, permitting and compliance services in support clients in the power, oil and gas, manufacturing, and data center sectors. This project management role will work closely with technical managers and ensure the correct delivery of projects within budget and schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for business and client development, and a talent for mentoring and recruiting. Your technical proficiency will help us grow WSP's market presence. This position will play a key role in crafting and implementing new strategies, providing strategic solutions to our clients' most complex challenges. Your Impact + Responsible for managing budgets, scope, schedules, resourcing and client satisfaction while working closely with professionals from WSP's teams across the United States and supported by trained project coordinators. + Must be familiar with the project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively co-ordinate the activities of the team. + Use project management tools, methods, and best practices to plan and manage projects in a way that aligns with the expectations of stakeholders and meet business needs. + The role is client-facing, and strong interpersonal skills combined with direct communication, ethics and integrity is a must. + Must be action-orientated, resourceful and has the ability to hold self and others accountable. Who You Are Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering, Science, or related discipline + Minimum of eight (8) years of post-education work experience + Demonstrated experience with project financial tracking, and change management related to scopes of work + Experience managing the overall delivery of projects, including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, safety and contract/subcontract management + Highly organized, adaptable, a developing leader, and calm under pressure +
