This position is responsible for the coordination, development, and execution of promotional sales period point of purchase (POP) and other in-store marketing materials for the following potential categories: Proprietary Fresh Food and Beverage, Packaged Goods and / or Age Restricted Products. The Associate Marketing Manager will support different functions that impact the customer's path to purchase within our stores. In addition, this person will help ensure that the marketing strategy and communication are aligned across the organization by coordinating cross functionally with other marketing team members, merchandisers, and external partners. This position is critical for the smooth operation of the marketing department in meeting deadlines and staying within budget. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager. Key Duties and Responsibilities Act as a liaison for merchandising team, agency, and printer on traditional or high-impact elements including displays that support special products or promotions. Support regional tests to deliver POP elements to identified test markets on time and on budget. Assists in gathering vendor assets and images for creative development. Ensure projects are on track, within budget and on strategy; provide support and guidance across the organization. Responsible for billing management; Forecasting spends by month, purchase order creation from estimates, invoice management of assigned categories and full reconciliation of the program. Participate in weekly status meetings with marketing team and external partners.
Education and Experience Education:
Bachelor/4yr degree Years of relevant work experience: 2+ years Specific Knowledge and Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and excellence. Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendor partners. Being able to identify a problem and provide a solution. Confident communicator; comfortable making recommendations and pushing back on internal teams when necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (heavy use), Workfront, and Microsoft Teams required. Preferred Qualifications Retail or CPG background strongly preferred. PMO or project management experience a plus. Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
Contract Details Contract duration:
8 months minimum, through approximately February 2026. Strong potential for extension given 100th anniversary initiatives.
Office presence:
4-5 days/week during ramp-up, with flexibility once established. Backfilling a team member on maternity leave (remote in Ohio)
