Summary:

This role supports oil and gas facility engineering projects from a technical project leadership standpoint, coordinating engineering design, specifications, documentation, and customer communication. The focus is midstream/upstream facility work, including CO2 and gas treating plants, with regular use of P&IDs, PFDs, MS Project, project cost controls, and design review coordination. Requirements 5-10 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager within an engineering consulting environment. Engineering degree from a U.S.-based school in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or a closely related discipline. Midstream/upstream oil and gas facility experience, ideally including CO2 or gas treating plant projects. Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal engineering project teams. Lead project reviews and meetings, including design reviews, PHA sessions, weekly project meetings, and action item closeout. Maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, cost control records, and engineering deliverable tracking. Important Notes This role is based near Houston, TX and requires regular in-person collaboration with engineering and project teams. Standard work week is Monday-Friday with a 40-hour expectation. Best fit is someone comfortable in a customer-facing role with strong written communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
