Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support our Mission Critical studio, which focuses on highly technical, infrastructure‑driven environments including data centers, power facilities, and water sector projects. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in complex environments, excels at client management, and brings a strong foundation in physical security systems.

While candidates with a consulting background are strongly preferred, we are also open to those coming from integrator organizations who have managed similar project scopes.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead full lifecycle project management for mission‑critical projects, ensuring delivery aligned with scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

Serve as the primary interface with clients across sectors such as data centers, power, and water facilities, providing guidance, technical clarity, and consistent communication.

Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution across design and implementation phases.

Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, action plans, and progress reporting for internal and client-facing audiences.

Oversee project documentation, change management, and compliance with internal methodologies and client standards.

Ensure quality assurance practices are followed throughout all phases of project delivery.

Support the team by identifying opportunities for process improvement, workflow enhancements, and optimized delivery practices.

Required QualificationsProven experience managing projects in mission‑critical environments, ideally involving data centers, utilities, or infrastructure‑driven industries.

Strong background in security systems, including:

Video Surveillance Systems (VSS)Access ControlPerimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS)Experience working with technical teams, end users, vendors, and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.

Strong communication, documentation, and client management skills.

Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).Preferred QualificationsConsulting background within AEC, technology design, or mission‑critical sectors.

Experience from a security integrator is also welcomed.

Familiarity with Revit and multidisciplinary design coordination (not required but highly valued).Experience working in highly regulated, high‑reliability, or compliance‑driven environments.

PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are a plus.

Work EnvironmentThis role may be performed remotely, though candidates located in or near Newport Beach, CA are strongly encouraged and may be given preference due to proximity to key teams.

Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
