Job Description

Project Architect Riverside, CA | Hybrid Schedule Available Are you a Project Architect looking for the opportunity to lead meaningful projects while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work environment? We are partnering with a respected architectural firm seeking a talented professional to manage educational, healthcare, civic, and commercial projects from concept through construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys client interaction, team leadership, and overseeing projects that positively impact communities. What You'll Do Lead architectural projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and outside consultants to ensure project success. Review drawings and specifications for quality, code compliance, coordination, and constructability. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and planning sessions. Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Mentor junior staff and provide leadership within project teams. Assist with business development efforts, proposals, and client relationship management. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture preferred. 5+ years of architectural project management experience. Proven experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction. Strong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and consultant coordination. Experience with educational, healthcare, civic, public-sector, or commercial projects preferred. Architectural license preferred or actively pursuing licensure. Experience working with state and local regulatory agencies. Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
