Project Controls Consultant Location:
Pomona, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team to support the budgeting and cost control functions for high-impact electrical substation projects. Our team plays a critical role in financial reporting and project forecasting, ensuring controlled, data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project budgets, baselines, and both short- and long-term financial forecasts for electrical substation projects. Create and oversee detailed reports for project cost monitoring and management, including budgets, actuals, and commitments. Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for changes in project scope, material usage, or scheduling. Update change management tools based on impact analysis and support overall financial controls for project managers and stakeholders.
Required:
Advanced proficiency in Excel, along with working knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Prior experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Bachelor's degree.
