Job Description

Veoneer US Safety Systems, LLC has an opening for the position of Project Coordinator (Ref# PC62RP).
Work Location:
26360 American Drive, Southfield, MI 48034 Position may telecommute/work remotely 2 days per week.
Job Duties:
Responsible for being primary customer interface for our automotive Restraint Control System Applications systems. Support customer and Veoneer deliverables. Interface daily with customers and Veoneer teams to ensure proper flow of information between the teams. Create and maintain End Item BOMs, drawings and support Veoneer manufacturing plan PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) process. Visit customer sites to support production-launch builds, as needed. Manage change requests that impact responsible vehicle programs. Work in a global team with Resident Engineers. Troubleshoot prototype and warranty returned parts, create 8D reports for internal team and customer review, and monitor warranty status. Track Material Required Dates (MRDs) for production parts to the customer. Perform peer reviews with colleagues to ensure the highest quality deliveries to the customer. Help drive continuous improvements in the daily activities of the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Application Engineer, Design Engineer, or related experience. 40hrs/week.
