Your impact The Project Director leads the safe, successful delivery of large scale EPCMV Biotech/Pharma projects, shaping facilities that enable life saving medicines worldwide. Pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities are central to global health, and the projects delivered by Jacobs directly support the production of life saving therapies. Role Overview To support continued growth, Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and deliver major EPCMV Biotech/Pharma projects in Ireland or mainland Europe. You will take full responsibility for safe project delivery, including commercial performance, schedule adherence, quality assurance, and client relationship management. This role requires a leader who can inspire multidisciplinary teams, navigate complex project environments, and uphold Jacobs' culture of safety, quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities Project leadership Direct large, complex Life Sciences EPCMV projects from initiation through turnover. Safety management Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures and standards. Commercial oversight Lead contract administration, invoicing, forecasting, and commercial reporting. Schedule and delivery Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with client expectations. Client engagement Build trusted relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution. Quality assurance Oversee quality documentation, compliance, and validation requirements. Subcontractor management Manage diverse subcontractor teams across multiple disciplines. Project controls Apply strong project controls to monitor progress, risks, and performance. Bid and proposal leadership Contribute to proposals, tender reviews, and strategic pursuit activities. Key Accountabilities Delivery of complex Life Sciences projects on schedule and within budget Expert knowledge of project and construction management Strong HSE leadership Proficiency in project controls Ability to work across multiple contract types Skilled subcontractor management Excellent client facing capability .
