We're seeking a strong, team-oriented leader to oversee our Project/Construction Accounting division. This role is responsible for leading a team of 9 professionals while managing the full scope of project, pre-development, and construction accounting. If you bring a background in real estate or construction accounting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know how to hold a team accountable while supporting their growth—this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of 9, driving accountability, performance, and collaboration Oversee project, pre-development, and construction accounting operations from set-up through close Manage the full monthly draw cycle, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation Ensure accurate job cost tracking, financial reporting, and general ledger integrity Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely, accurate disbursements Manage bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting requirements Partner cross-functionally to support project funding, compliance, and financial success What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience, with real estate or construction accounting preferred Proven experience leading and managing large teams with a focus on accountability and results Strong understanding of job costing, draw processes, and financial reconciliations Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems (RealPage experience a plus) Compensation & Benefits Base salary range of $120,000-$130,000 annually Eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives Hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 remote day per week Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 6% company match to support your future 18 days of PTO and 11.5 paid holidays to recharge and relax Additional benefits including paid parental leave and lifestyle spending accounts If you're ready to lead a high-impact team and play a key role in supporting complex development projects, we'd love to connect—apply today!
