Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Analyst Lead (PMA Lead) to manage and support complex automotive program initiatives, with a focus on electrical systems development. This role will lead project management tool deployment, support program leadership, and ensure cross-functional alignment to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
Lead deployment and utilization of project management tools across program teams Support Program Managers, Project Analysts, and PMA supplier staff to ensure effective project delivery Integrate and manage multiple program timelines, including alignment of model year plans Provide guidance, escalation support, and issue resolution across cross-functional teams Interface with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and decisions Lead cross-functional coordination of engineering changes (DCRs) Track changes from initiation through approval, ensuring downstream impacts are assessed (cost, weight, tooling, timing) Partner with purchasing, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support launch readiness Track ESI deliverables through GPDS milestones (KO through FEC) Monitor design maturity and validation progress for virtual and physical builds (VP, TT) Identify timing risks, supplier issues, and development bottlenecks early Manage feature-to-part complexity matrices to align electrical architecture with program targets Drive on-time release of electrical components (ECUs, wiring harnesses) Audit release readiness, including WERS alerts, NR status resolution, and sign-offs Ensure alignment between engineering BOM (eBOM) and physical product releases Facilitate Interface Agreements (IAs) across module teams (ADAS, Infotainment, etc.) Track network communication database releases to support integration testing Ensure cross-system alignment for electrical architecture and program execution Utilize WERS to track engineering concerns, alerts, and part effectivity Leverage Teamcenter to monitor CAD maturity, BOM alignment, and design progress Support FEDE BOM, DVP, and engineering sign-off tracking Coordinate electrical development activities for Performance programs Support supplier sourcing and Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) processes Lead change control reviews and approvals (CRs) Participate in daily program health meetings (Red Border, OTG, part shortages) Drive closure of quality deliverables, DVPs, and compliance requirements Facilitate cross-functional issue resolution and decision-making during builds and launch
Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or BBA or Associate Degree or BS in Business Administration (or equivalent) 5+ years of experience in automotive program/project management Strong understanding of processes and engineering tools, including:
WERS, FEDE
BOM, AIMS/DVP, DFMEA, FMA, GPIRs/Part Sign-Off, Engineering Sign-Off/Six Sigma fundamentals Experience working with electrical systems (ESI), ECUs, and wiring harnesses Experience supporting or leading vehicle launches and cross-functional program teams Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives under tight timelines Strong communication skills and ability to work within a matrix organization with minimal supervision #LI-GL1
