Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Project Manager to support large-scale transmission and substation capital projects across multiple phases of execution. This position will work directly alongside the Owner's Project Management team, supporting coordination across engineering, construction, scheduling, and project controls to ensure successful project execution.
Location / Schedule
  • Hybrid work environment
  • One week onsite per month in Amarillo, TX
  • Remaining time remote
  • Some additional site travel may be required depending on project activity Key Responsibilities
  • Support transmission and substation capital projects from planning through execution
  • Coordinate activities between engineering teams, project management, contractors, and field personnel
  • Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and construction coordination activities
  • Support schedule tracking, milestone management, and project forecasting
  • Assist with contractor coordination and communication during execution phases
  • Track project risks, delays, and mitigation efforts
  • Support construction oversight and project execution across multiple active projects
  • Assist with documentation management, reporting, and project tracking
  • Coordinate with scheduling and project controls teams to support project delivery
  • Provide project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of utility transmission, substation, or capital project experience
  • Experience supporting engineering-driven construction or utility infrastructure projects
  • Transmission and substation project experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of scheduling, forecasting, construction coordination, and project documentation processes
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, construction, and project management teams
  • Exposure to utility construction standards and project execution processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
