Duties Description The Project Manager 2 will report directly to the Systems Innovation Division Project Coordinator and will be responsible for the following: Manage multiple projects of small or medium scope and assist in coordinating portions of larger projects. Develop and implement project management plans and supporting documentation. Interact with stakeholders and coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure that the project objectives are met. Perform risk analysis and manage mitigation activities. Evaluate solution performance against business goals and objectives. Demonstrate strong, professional, respectful communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Organize and maintain a project management library and project tools repository. Implement project management processes and policies. Maintain effective professional work relations with individuals, teams, and contacts both with ITS and Tax. Supervise lower-level staff. NON-COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(NY HELPS): Seven years of experience in project management which must have included planning and at least three other of the management process groups: origination (including governance work intake, portfolio management, capacity demand planning); initiating; executing; controlling; and, closing; and the development of project management deliverables, such as scope statements, schedules, budgets, quality plans, risk plans, and communication plans. __ An associate degree may substitute for two years of experience; a bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of experience; a master's degree may substitute for five years of experience; and a doctorate may substitute for seven years of experience. _________________________________
