Job Description:
Project Manager I Cincinnati, OH 12-month contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion. Work authorization required now and in future. No visa sponsorship available. No Corp-to-Corp or 1099 arrangements. W-2 only. Brooksource is searching for Project Manager to join our Fortune 500 Energy & Utilities Client. This position focuses on managing a portfolio of customer-related utility projects, including power delivery initiatives supporting large commercial customers and renewable energy integration efforts. This role is highly process-driven and portfolio focused, ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, budgets, tracking, and project execution in a structured office environment. Typical projects may include new line construction, line rebuilds, new substation construction, transformer replacements, switchgear replacements, or any combination of these. The Project Manager will receive the projects from Development and introduce the project to the project team of Stakeholders and manage the progress of the Stakeholder's tasks throughout the life cycle of the project. This role follows a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in Downtown Cincinnati office and 2 days a week remote. The Project Manager will be expected to make occasional site visits when their support is needed in the field.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing scope, schedule, and budget for a portfolio of projects assigned to them. Typical projects may include new line construction, line rebuilds, new substation construction, transformer replacements, switchgear replacements, or any combination of these. Receive the projects from Development and introduce project other project team of stakeholders and manage the progress of the stakeholders' tasks throughout the life cycle of the project. Track, manage, and report the project finances with support from the project controls team. Expected to make occasional site visits when their support is needed in field. Project Manager will be expected to comply with all OSHA regulations including proper PPE that may include wearing fire retardant clothing, hardhat, EH rated boots, and protective eyewear.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of project management experience. Graduation from a two-year college or university. Working knowledge of project management principles. Working knowledge to proficiency in project management, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving. Project related work experience. Risk management, project leadership, proven collaborative team member.
PREFFERED QUALIFICIAITONS
Graduation from a four year college or university.
