Job Description
For one of our clients in Lake Mary, FL, we are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful execution of engineering projects from order intake through to final delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding project outcomes. This is a 12 month contract. As the primary point of contact for customers during project execution, you will play a key role in building strong relationships, driving project performance, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress forecasts. Coordinate activities across Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Accounting, and Field Service teams. Act as the main customer contact during project execution and provide regular project updates. Monitor project budgets, costs, and commercial performance. Manage procurement activities and support logistics planning. Coordinate project documentation, technical queries, inspections, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, quality, and safety requirements. Prepare and present project status reports to customers and management. Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and drive successful project outcomes. What We're Looking ForQualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience in project management within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and customer management. Experience working with technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Skills & Competencies Excellent organisational and communication skills. Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred). AutoCAD and/or Inventor experience is an advantage. Customer-focused with a collaborative and proactive approach
