Job Description
Project Manager - HOMEstretch (North Central NJ) HOMEstretch helps homeowners and real estate agents get homes market-ready with one simple solution that provides junk removal, painting, landscaping, flooring installation, and cleaning. We're growing fast and looking for an energetic Project Manager to own and grow our local operations presence. Why This Role Matters Key leadership position in a fast-growing, young company. What You'll Do Own project schedules: Ensure crews arrive on time and that all materials and equipment (dumpsters, paint, tools, etc.) are ready when needed.
Communicate with clients:
Work closely with ownership to set expectations, send updates, and confirm project start, progress, and completion. Drive quality & customer satisfaction: Keep projects on track, solve issues quickly, and make sure every client is thrilled with the result.
Recruit and manage subcontractors:
Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted subcontractor partners.
Improve our systems:
Help develop and refine policies and best practices for scheduling, communication, customer service, marketing, and hiring.
Jump in where needed:
Support field work such as quality checks, light handyman tasks, clear-outs, and other on-site needs.
What We're Looking For Experience:
2+ years of operational or project management experience.
Industry Knowledge:
A background in real estate, construction, or home services is a plus.
Detail-Oriented:
Exceptional attention to detail and comfort using procedures and checklists to manage complex work.
Leadership:
Proven leadership experience managing hourly employees or field teams.
Mindset:
Strong customer service mindset—you enjoy going the extra mile for clients.
Problem Solver:
A self-starter who can turn high-level direction into an organized plan and completed tasks.
