1st round via Teams, final round onsite in NYC Position Overview Our Fortune 500 client located in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Technical Cybersecurity Project Manager to support enterprise cybersecurity engineering initiatives focused on SIEM implementation, security monitoring, and threat detection capabilities. This role will work closely with cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to coordinate the implementation and expansion of enterprise SIEM platforms and related security initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with technical understanding of SIEM technologies, enterprise logging, cloud observability, and security operations processes. This individual will play a key role in tracking project execution, coordinating engineering teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of scalable security monitoring solutions across the enterprise. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication, technical coordination, stakeholder management, and delivery tracking skills within a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Project Delivery Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives with a focus on SIEM and security monitoring platforms Work closely with cybersecurity engineering teams to track implementation progress, milestones, and deliverables Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and scope across multiple technical workstreams Support execution of enterprise Splunk SIEM implementation and expansion initiatives SIEM & Security Platform Coordination Partner with engineering teams to support deployment and scaling of Splunk Enterprise Security capabilities Coordinate onboarding of enterprise log sources including: Cloud platforms Operating systems Network devices Security tools Enterprise applications Support tracking of: Log ingestion Parsing Data normalization Detection use case alignment Collaborate with infrastructure, security operations, and cloud teams to ensure successful integration and delivery Stakeholder Management & Reporting Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones Provide regular status updates, executive reporting, and delivery dashboards Track risks, issues, and dependencies while facilitating resolution activities Coordinate with internal stakeholders, engineering leads, vendors, and external partners Support Cyber PMO reporting and governance processes Technical Coordination & Governance Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between: Security Engineering Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Application Teams Security Operations Support adherence to enterprise cybersecurity and project governance standards Assist with process documentation and operational coordination activities Help drive continuous improvement across delivery and implementation processes Required Qualifications 5+ years of project or program management experience within cybersecurity or enterprise technology environments Strong experience managing technical implementation projects involving multiple engineering teams Hands-on experience supporting or coordinating SIEM or security platform implementations Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security or similar SIEM technologies Strong understanding of: Security monitoring Log management Threat detection Security operations concepts Familiarity with cloud environments including: AWS Azure GCP Oracle Cloud Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced environments Experience with: Project tracking Risk management Executive reporting Delivery coordination Technical Skills Must Have Technical Project Management Cybersecurity Project Delivery Splunk / SIEM Platforms Microsoft Project Project Reporting & Tracking Cross-Functional Coordination Risk & Dependency Management Security Monitoring Concepts Cloud Environment Familiarity Nice to Have Splunk Enterprise Security Enterprise Logging & Observability Threat Detection & Incident Response AI Triage Agents / AI-driven Security Operations Cloud Observability Platforms Process Documentation Cybersecurity PMO Experience Preferred Profile The ideal candidate is a proactive technical project manager with strong cybersecurity delivery experience and the ability to coordinate highly technical engineering initiatives across enterprise environments.
