Downers Grove, IL Job Details $80,000 - $87,500 a year 1 day ago Full Job Description At HEUFT USA, we develop and support advanced automated inspection systems used by leading manufacturers across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Our technologies combine high-performance vision systems, automation, and innovative pulsed X-ray inspection solutions to help customers achieve the highest levels of product quality, safety, and operational efficiency. We are looking for a proactive, technically driven, and highly organized Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and understands how to effectively drive projects from concept through successful completion. This role requires strong project leadership, professional customer interaction skills, technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining focus on timelines, quality, and execution. Key Responsibilities Manage customer projects from kickoff through final completion and customer acceptance Coordinate timelines, deliverables, installation planning, and technical project requirements Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams throughout project execution Drive projects proactively while identifying risks, bottlenecks, and solutions early Support site surveys, integration reviews, layout discussions, and technical planning activities Coordinate commissioning activities together with service and engineering teams Track milestones, documentation, open items, and customer deliverables to ensure project momentum Facilitate communication between cross-functional and international teams Support process improvements to strengthen project execution efficiency and customer satisfaction Maintain professional customer relationships while managing expectations in dynamic project environments Support escalation management and help drive issues to resolution effectively and professionally What Makes This Role Unique This is not a traditional project management position focused only on schedules and reporting. The position combines technical project management, customer interaction, industrial automation exposure, cross-functional leadership, strategic problem solving, and operational execution while working directly with: High-speed manufacturing and packaging environments Advanced vision inspection and pulsed X-ray technologies Beverage, food, pharmaceutical, and medical device applications Complex production and quality assurance challenges International engineering, service, and technical teams Every project presents unique technical and organizational challenges, creating continuous learning and growth opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Automation, or related technical field [Preferred] Proven experience managing technical or industrial projects in manufacturing environments Strong understanding of project execution, prioritization, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination Ability to proactively drive projects to completion while balancing timelines, quality, and customer expectations Strong people management and coordination capabilities Excellent communication and customer interaction skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced environments Comfortable working with customers, suppliers, technicians, engineering teams, and international counterparts Technical understanding of automation, manufacturing equipment, packaging systems, or inspection technology preferred Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail Collaborative leadership style with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally Why Join
