Apex, NC Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 - $30 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Word AutoCAD Microsoft Excel Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee furniture installation projects mostly for military installations. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, some construction management experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. As a Project Manager, you will coordinate installation teams, ordering and shipping logistics, manage project schedules, and ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders to drive project success and client satisfaction.Duties will include:
Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications. Manage logistics for shipments of products to the site. Oversee project coordination activities by collaborating with contractors, and clients to align project goals and resolve issues promptly. Experience with site evaluation, measuring for plans, and communicating with clients on their needs. Manage procurement processes while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Utilize AutoCad design software, Excel and Microsoft Word software to track project milestones, budgets, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and documentation. Conduct site visits to review the installation progress, verify schematic drawings and blueprints reading accuracy, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Facilitate effective communication across teams by organizing meetings, updating stakeholders regularly, and managing project documentation efficiently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Must be a US Citizen with no criminal history and be able to pass a military background check. This position may lead to a full-time position.
