Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and on‑site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and comfortable leading multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment. Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify risks, conflicts, or required changes. Manage subcontractor performance, including scope definition, contract compliance, and quality control. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship. Prepare and present project status reports, cost updates, and schedule forecasts. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services. Resolve field issues, RFIs, and change orders in a timely manner. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, and turnover packages. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-7 years of experience managing commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices. Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
