Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated project manager specializing in Doors, Frames, and Hardware to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with the general contractor, ordering materials for projects, and creating change orders for projects awarded to our team. Your expertise will help enhance the appearance, functionality, and longevity of our projects, contributing to customer satisfaction and project success. Duties Speak directly with General Contractor project managers/superintendents and act as the point of contact for commercial construction projects. Order project materials via web application and machining sheets as necessary. Work together with the assigned estimator and detailer from our team to ensure submittals are sent timely and the project is able to flow to completion. Coordinate project deliveries and installation of materials as necessary. Attend meetings established by the General Contractor to ensure projects meet schedules and expectations. Skills Applicant must have door, frame and hardware software experience, preferably Comsense. Applicant must be well versed in door, frame and hardware nomenclature and installation. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Attention to detail, specifically being able to order materials accurately. Code compliance with current building standard and craftsmanship. Software compliance with door, frame and hardware software, preferably Comsense in addition to Bluebeam Revu/Adobe and Microsoft Office applications. Industry knowledge with hollow metal doors, hollow metal frames, wood doors, aluminum frames and associated hardware.
