RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking a Project Manager - Level 3.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Product and Engineering
  • Translate business and program priorities into clear, actionable plans
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early and drive resolution
  • Partner with Program Managers, Technical Product Managers, and Engineering teams to prioritize the highest-impact work
  • Continuously validate that execution aligns with program goals-not just task completion
  • Bring clarity and direction when priorities shift or ambiguity arises
  • Establish and maintain clear project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Track progress against outcomes, not just activities
  • Remove blockers to keep teams moving efficiently
  • Serve as the connective point between Product, Engineering, and Program leadership
  • Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify gaps in planning, execution, or communication and drive process improvements
  • Strengthen team operating rhythms (planning, retrospectives, status reporting)
  • Help teams become more predictable, efficient, and outcome-focused
  • Acts as a partner to engineering-without replacing technical decision-making
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-7+ years of project or program management experience with ownership of complex initiatives
  • Strong project management fundamentals (planning, prioritization, risk management, execution)
  • Proven ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams
  • Experience working in technical or software development environments
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and team operating rhythms
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure where needed
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of proactively identifying and resolving risks
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts (APIs, systems, dependencies)
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear execution plans
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in SaaS or platform-based environments
  • Hands-on experience within Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Familiarity with tools such as
Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet What Success Looks Like:

  • Brings structure and clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Drives alignment and communicates effectively across stakeholders The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
