  • $40 /hr Posted May 13, 2026 Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support their marketing and content team undergoing a transition to Asana.
This role will be critical in managing intake, supporting workflows, and ensuring smooth project execution during a period of system adoption and process refinement. This is a fully remote, part-time engagement (approximately 10
  • 15 hours per week, or 2-3 hours per day across 3-4 days per week), expected to run for 6-8 months.
Consistent availability throughout the week is important, with a preference for evenly distributed support (e.g., Monday/Wednesday/Friday). The ideal candidate will act as the central point of coordination, helping the team stay organized, accountable, and moving forward efficiently. The right candidate is a highly organized "engine-keeper" who thrives on bringing structure to ambiguity, takes ownership of intake and workflow processes, and is proactive in driving progress. This individual is comfortable nudging stakeholders, maintaining momentum across projects, and ensuring teams stay aligned during periods of change. Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Support incoming project requests across the business
  • Triage intake requests and determine appropriate next steps (e.g., kickoff meeting vs. direct execution)
  • Translate intake requests into actionable projects within Asana
  • Assign tasks, owners, timelines, and dependencies to ensure clarity and accountability
  • Monitor and manage project intake volume and response timelines across stakeholders
  • Maintain and organize projects within Asana ("keep house")
  • Build, refine, and implement workflows and templates to support team efficiency
  • Migrate and organize existing project work (e.g., backlog and in-flight projects from other tools such as CoSchedule) into Asana
  • Identify gaps in templates or processes and proactively address them
  • Capture detailed notes, track action items, and provide real-time updates
  • Coordinate and facilitate project kickoff meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track
  • Help establish and maintain response-time expectations across the organization
  • Provide light administrative support to the broader team as needed (e.g., coordination with event stakeholders)
  • Assist with ad hoc project coordination tasks to support marketing and content initiatives Project Manager Requirements
  • Experience using Asana (required)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, ideally within marketing, content, or communications teams
  • Strong marketing background with understanding of campaign workflows and content production
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly proactive and self-directed, with strong follow-through
  • Ability to effectively triage requests, prioritize work, and manage ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization
  • Experience facilitating meetings, managing stakeholders, and driving accountability
