The Project Manager will be part of a project team overseeing projects from early development through completion. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, funding sources, and technical consultants independently. The ideal candidate will have a background in pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure, regulatory requirements, funding programs, and grant opportunities. General Responsible for day-to-day management and delivery of capital projects through concept, design, permitting, and construction Works collaboratively with project partners, property owners, funders, regulators, and community stakeholders Position is hybrid, with regular site visits and field coordination Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Serve as primary point of contact for project partners and stakeholders Procure and manage consultants and contractors; coordinate scopes, bidding, agreements, and deliverables Oversee project design, permitting, and construction, including coordination, reviews, and stakeholder input Oversee construction, including site coordination, issue resolution, and compliance with project requirements Support community engagement to develop and implement the project Track project funding, budgets, and expenses; coordinate reporting and invoicing Coordinate property access agreements and project approvals Maintain project records and documentation Support grant writing, reporting, and compliance Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, or related field 5 years of experience managing transportation, ped cycle infrastructure, environmental, or community-based projects Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with diverse stakeholders Familiarity with permitting processes and construction administration preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management or GIS tools a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Employment Terms & Timeline 40-hour, five-day work week,

The Woonasquatucket River Greenway is a 7-mile multi-use trail that follows the Woonasquatucket River on- and off-road from Providence to Johnston.
