Your impact At Jacobs, we're looking for a Project Manager who's passionate about delivering innovative rail and transit solutions and enjoys tackling complex challenges across the project lifecycle. If you thrive on leading technical teams, solving problems, and helping transit agencies modernize and optimize their systems in the DC Metro Region, we have the opportunity for you! In this role, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams delivering rail and transit projects and you'll play a key role in expanding our presence with agencies like WMATA, VRE, VRPA and other regional clients. As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of rail and transit projects—from early planning through final design and construction—with an emphasis on signals and communications systems Serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for transit clients in the Washington, DC market Managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating across civil, structural, systems, and environmental teams Driving business development: identifying opportunities, shaping pursuits, writing proposals, and presenting to clients Leveraging your industry relationships to strengthen and grow our rail & transit portfolio in the region Mentoring project staff and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team environment #

Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) Substantial experience within the rail and transit industry in the DC Metro Region Proven success managing complex, multidisciplinary transit projects in a consulting environment Established relationships with Washington, DC-area transit agencies such as WMATA, VRE and VRPA Strong understanding of FTA, FRA, and transit agency standards Excellent client-facing, leadership, and communication skills Local to the Washington-DC Metro Area Ideally you'll also have: Previous experience with signals and communications rail and transit project delivery A track record of winning work and contributing to business development efforts If you're someone who enjoys both delivering impactful transit projects and building the relationships that lead to the next opportunity, this is the opportunity for you!

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $179,520.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
