This is a high-visibility role where you'll take ownership of commercial projects from design through construction, manage small teams, and support long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Manage architectural projects from concept through construction administration Lead day-to-day project execution, coordinating internal team members (typically 2-4 people) Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success Develop and produce design documentation across all phases Coordinate drawings, specifications, and technical details Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and industry standards Participate in construction administration, including submittals, site visits, and RFIs Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members Support communication between all project stakeholders to maintain schedule and quality Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Registration is a plus 8-15 years of experience in architectural design and project management Well-rounded background across commercial project types Experience managing projects and small teams in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Revit (ability to navigate and make updates as needed) Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction documentation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with financial institutions or recreational facilities (ice arenas, sports complexes) is a plus Benefits Bonus and profit-sharing opportunities 401(k) with employer contribution Health and dental benefits with employer support Paid Time Off (PTO) Strong long-term growth opportunity within a stable firm Be the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!
