This individual does NOT supervise other staff and reports to the Membership Manager. Term of position This is a full time at-will employee of ASRA Pain Medicine. Primary Responsibilities Membership and Customer Service Respond to member and customer inquiries and requests in a timely, professional manner. Support the Committee on Research, including coordinating the grant review process for four research grants annually. Support the membership database maintenance and ensure the accuracy of its content. Process member applications, renewals, group memberships, and mailings in a timely and precise manner. Execute membership recruitment and retention campaigns and marketing efforts, as directed. Support the Membership Manager and President on the committee volunteer process from application, appointment, onboarding, and recognition. Support membership and special interest group related initiatives as directed by the Membership Manager. Answer general phone calls and emails in a professional, engaging manner. Publishing & Communications Serve as in-house backup/support for Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine journal submissions as directed by the Senior Managing Editor. Provide administrative support for the journal through scheduling monthly meetings and podcasts, creating and sending letters, and following up on editorial tasks as assigned. Review/proofread emails, website articles/information, and special interest group newsletters and resources as directed. Collaborate with the education team for meeting and course marketing with other societies. Support communications-related activities as directed. Meetings & Administrative Support Coordinate the technical and logistical needs of the workshops at national meetings (and serve as the on-site workshop coordinator) and for all courses. Coordinate all aspects of awards selection, maintenance, production, and distribution. Create/update forms in Cognito Forms for nominations, applications, meeting information, etc. as directed Maintain leadership and committee rosters in the shared folders, on the website, in the database, and in the virtual office. Serve as a contact for ASRA Pain Medicine by professionally answering member calls and addressing all basic requests. Maintain and update the Fellowship Directory listing on the website. Serve as the archivist of the society by cataloging and preserving important photos, documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience
  • 2 years of basic office experience in a non-profit membership organization(s) or related.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse audiences, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Demonstrated success in handling a variety of administrative duties, prioritizing competing tasks, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with association management software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and/or other customer databases.
  • Comfortable performing extensive computer-based work, proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, and able to quickly master new software and technology systems as needed.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with volunteers from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
  • Ability to occasionally travel, work overtime, and lift up to 50 pounds, as necessary
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
