Job Description

Are you ready to grow your design and project management skills? The Bureau of Real Estate is looking for a Real Estate Project Coordinator who enjoys planning, organizing, and helping guide important design projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and creative environment that focuses on improvement and great customer service. At DGS (Department of General Services), you will be part of a team that values new ideas and works together to make a real difference! As a Real Estate Project Coordinator, you will be supporting space planning, project coordination, and workspace improvements to help agencies use facilities effectively and responsibly. As a key player in shaping the hybrid workplace of the future, you will perform the following duties:
Space Planning:
Manage workspace planning and coordination to support efficient and functional office layouts
Project Oversight:
Lead space-related projects and work with agencies, staff, and partners to meet project goals
Design Review:
Coordinate floor plan design, review layout options, and support lease specification development
Data Tracking:
Use TRIRIGA or similar systems to track project details, space inventories, and reports
Standards Compliance:
Ensure workspace plans follow ADA guidelines, safety codes, and space utilization standards
Collaboration Support:
Work with technical staff, suppliers, and agency contacts to gather information and present solutions Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. You will be required to travel throughout Pennsylvania to conduct site visits or attend in-person meetings. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Administrative Officer 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must have possess a current driver's license which is not under suspension. You must have project management experience. You must have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and using drafting software. You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to
