Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and dynamic construction project management professional looking to make a global impact? We are seeking a versatile, reliable, and outgoing individual with a positive work attitude to join our Global Real Estate and Workplace team. In this full-time role based at our Pleasanton headquarters, you will oversee the full lifecycle of workplace construction and build-out projects, from pre-construction through financial close-out, across multiple global locations and time zones. Partnering closely with internal teams including People and Purpose, Business Technology, Finance, and Global Workplace Safety, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-efficient office environments that reflect our core values and support a thriving workplace culture. Reporting to the Global Project Delivery Senior Manager, you will lead dispersed, multi-cultural project teams while balancing end-user needs with strategic, value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage project inception from pre-construction processes through financial close-out to maximize the quality of constructed spaces while implementing value-engineering alternatives to reduce construction costs
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction to regional project teams, managers, and consultants
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across dispersed, multi-cultural project teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including global projects across different time zones
  • Maintain financial forecasts and oversee project cost tracking throughout all projects, including monthly forecasting and quarterly reporting
  • Partner with the Workplace and Sustainability team to consult with internal stakeholders on space and furniture needs, assisting in space planning while balancing end-user needs with cost-efficient solutions
  • Work closely with Business Technology and Global Workplace Safety teams to ensure technology solutions, including audio visual, low voltage cabling, and access control systems, are captured in design
  • Ensure that space and building standards are implemented throughout the design process
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, team members, and other employees to discuss requirements planned for design
  • Provide furniture specifications to suppliers to create detailed layouts
  • Coordinate communication between Business Technology teams, security teams, external engineers, furniture vendors, end users, property management, and general contractors to ensure all groups have required information
  • Develop and leverage collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry products, methods, promotional strategies, and trends in workplace design
  • Create and manage project schedules to ensure deliverables remain on track
Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of various Project Delivery Methods, including Design-Build, CM at Risk, and IPD
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and financial and cost management systems
  • Strong proficiency with Procore and OpenSpace
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities for international teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral, presentation, and written communication skills and professional presence
  • Detailed understanding of industry standards, including workplace practices, corporate management, office technology, and environmental factors
  • Proven ability to travel globally as required
  • Financial analysis experience and familiarity with accounting and financial concepts related to real estate, capital projects, and operational expenses
Experience:
  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with significant experience in global or multi-country project delivery
  • 8 or more years of people leadership experience
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of construction background and technical degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management
  • PMP or other relevant industry certification is preferred
