Security Project Coordinator

Secure Environment Consultants (SEC) is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinators to be embedded within a leading energy company. This full-time position involves managing safety and security components at transmission center energy company facility projects, requiring collaboration with the energy company to assess current security measures, propose enhancements, ensure regulatory compliance during construction, and verify the integrity of security installations post-construction. This role significantly contributes to the company's mission of securing vital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Security Assessment:

Conduct evaluations of transmission center energy company facilities to identify safety and security needs and vulnerabilities. Develop and present recommendations for risk mitigation and security enhancement using industry-standard tools and technologies

Site Visits and Coordination:

Perform pre-construction site assessments to establish baseline conditions and address potential issues. Conduct regular site visits during construction to ensure adherence to project standards and security protocols. Undertake post-construction evaluations to confirm the completeness and effectiveness of security installations.

Reporting and Communication:

Actively participate in project-related meetings, providing insights and updates. Communicate findings and recommendations directly to the corporate security team. Maintain regular communication and alignment with the corporate security team, project coordinator team, and other stakeholders as needed. Prepare and deliver detailed reports documenting observations and assessments within established timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in project coordination, focusing on safety and security assessments. Strong understanding of security principles and risk mitigation strategies. Excellent observational and analytical skills. Proficiency in reporting and documentation. Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to various transmission center sites and energy company facilities. A degree in law enforcement or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in project management or security are advantageous.
