Senior Highway Project Manager 📍

Norwood, Worcester, Boston, MA Hartford, CT Manchester, NHLincoln, RI The firm:

Multidisciplinary firm 20% 401K Match Esop Program My client is seeking an experienced Senior Highway Project Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about transportation infrastructure and enjoys mentoring junior staff, collaborating across disciplines, and engaging with clients.

ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering design, review, and preparation of contract documents.

Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.

Prepare and review reports and contract documents.

Collaborate with design team members and provide technical support.

Assist with client service, proposal development, and project pursuits.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license.8-15 years of experience in highway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, and roadway construction practices.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation OpenRoads Designer.

Familiarity with MUTCD, AASHTO, and MassDOT design requirements.

Ability to collect field data and perform asset inspections.

Ability to perform field work in various weather conditions.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
Experience with additional New England DOTs.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
