This individual is responsible for project execution, financial performance, team leadership, client relationships, safety oversight, and operational success across one or multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, risk mitigation, and project closeout. Drive a strong safety culture by promoting jobsite safety standards, conducting incident investigations, and mentoring project teams toward an injury-free environment. Support and oversee preconstruction activities including estimating, quantity takeoffs, scope development, bid package preparation, trade coordination, scheduling, and GMP development. Manage subcontractor buyout processes, scope reviews, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance evaluations throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved. Lead project meetings including owner/architect meetings, progress reviews, and internal coordination sessions. Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, procurement logs, cost forecasting, and reporting. Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identify cost impacts, and implement strategies to maximize profitability. Develop and maintain construction schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating schedule risks related to manpower, weather, procurement, and scope changes. Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, turnover documentation, subcontract completion, and financial reconciliation. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development. Support business development efforts through client engagement, industry involvement, presentations, and relationship building. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered. 10+ years of construction management experience overseeing commercial, industrial, mission critical, healthcare, education, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of construction operations, project controls, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. Experience managing projects from conceptual planning through final completion. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software platforms. Knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and Lean construction principles preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead high-performing project teams in fast-paced environments. Working Conditions Valid driver's license required. Ability to travel and/or relocate based on project needs. (Relocation assistance is provided) Willingness to work flexible or non-traditional hours as required by project schedules. Combination of office and active construction site environments. May be exposed to varying weather and site conditions. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine physical activities associated with construction environments.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
