Competitive hourly rate + overtime eligibility Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to support large-scale operational initiatives within a customer service organization in a regulated utility environment. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional business projects from initiation through completion while ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are successfully managed. This is not an IT/software delivery role. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal oversight. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project execution from planning through closeout Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reporting Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, legal, communications, and business stakeholders Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delays Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders Ensure deliverables align with business objectives and quality expectations Maintain project documentation, compliance records, and reporting metrics Manage vendor relationships and external partners when applicable Support process improvement initiatives and operational best practices Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of project management or project coordination experience in a non-IT environment Strong experience managing cross-functional operational or business initiatives Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and project management tools such as MS Project or Lucidchart Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting utility, energy, or customer service organizations Familiarity with contract development and vendor coordination PMP, CAPM, or related project management certification preferred MBA or related advanced degree is a plus Experience working in highly regulated environments Key Skills Project Planning & Execution Stakeholder Communication Risk & Issue Management Cross-Functional Coordination Process Improvement Organizational Leadership Attention to Detail Time Management & Prioritization Work Environment Hybrid work schedule with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday Standard business hours with flexibility based on project needs Equipment and office resources provided
