Contract Role Overview Our organization is undertaking a HIPAA remediation initiative focused on pharmacy operations. This Senior Project Manager will drive the remediation effort, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and compliance objectives are met. Technical resources are in place; the team requires a strong project manager to provide structure, momentum, and accountability to an initiative that has struggled to gain traction. Key Responsibilities Own the project schedule, drive timelines, and ensure steady forward progress across all remediation workstreams. Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive project plan addressing identified HIPAA deficiencies. Coordinate with technical teams responsible for implementing fixes in backups, logging, access controls, and access reviews. Provide clear communication to stakeholders, including pharmacy leadership and internal compliance teams. Identify risks, escalate blockers, and ensure issues are resolved quickly. Track deliverables, dependencies, and milestones, and report status to leadership. Step in quickly, learn the environment through knowledge transfer, and begin executing with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Strong project management experience with the ability to drive schedules, enforce accountability, and keep complex initiatives moving. Experience in technology-focused projects, ideally involving security, compliance, or infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to build project plans, timelines, and reporting structures from scratch. Highly self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable starting a project with minimal ramp-up time. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with HIPAA requirements or experience in healthcare or pharmacy environments. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour.
