Years Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Oracle Federal Financials to support and deliver complex financial system initiatives for federal clients. The ideal candidate brings a balanced combination of project management expertise and functional knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials, with experience supporting agencies such as the Department of Commerce highly preferred. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, provide exemplary customer service, ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, and drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management in support of Oracle Federal Financials implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Serve as a trusted knowledgeable point of contact to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with federal stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and success metrics. Facilitate communication between technical teams, functional users, and executive leadership. Manage project scope, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and documentation to stakeholders. Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of project management experience, including leading enterprise system implementations. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Federal Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, Treasury integration). Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies; Department of Commerce experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of federal financial processes and compliance requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or R12 implementations in federal environments. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies. Experience working in a consulting or government contracting environment.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (active clearance preferred).
