Job Description

Job Title:
Sr Project Manager Job Description As a Sr. Project Manager, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and demos, and sprint retrospectives. You will maintain and support Scrum team work in project management software (i.e. JIRA) with administrator-level access to update and maintain templates, provide and update team access, add and maintain release versions, components, and Scrum and Kanban boards. You will guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values for the benefit of our customers, and work with a team of Scrum Masters to define and standardize Scrum best practices for the organization. Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Maintain and support Scrum team work in JIRA with administrator-level access. Guide the team in using Agile/Scrum practices and values. Collaborate with Scrum Masters to standardize Scrum best practices. Maintain project status reporting in software like Planisware and Smartsheets. Communicate project status, timeline changes, risks, and issues to leadership. Work with development teams to identify areas of improvement. Create action plans for development teams within the Scrum framework. Provide training on the Scrum framework to team members. Support the Product Owner in refining and maintaining the product backlog. Identify and resolve project issues, facilitate trade-off decisions, and remove obstacles. Optimize development processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency. Essential Skills 5+ years of related experience. 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with Agile software integration projects. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Experience with administrator role in Jira. Project management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. PMP certification preferred. 3+ years of experience with Jira, Confluence, and project status reporting. Successful track record of bringing new software technology solutions/products to market. Interpersonal and facilitation skills. Effective communication at all levels of the organization. Business knowledge in manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science industries. Experience with manufacturing workflow enabling software (LIMS / MES) preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $64.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
