Job Description

A well‑established, multi‑disciplinary civil and structural engineering firm with more than 40 years of service across the Midwest is growing their Structural team. They deliver community‑focused solutions in transportation, building structures, site development, water resources, ADA planning, and surveying. Their portfolio includes hundreds of bridge designs, thousands of miles of roadway and sidewalk improvements, and community‑defining projects for municipalities, campuses, and public spaces.

With four office locations across Illinois and Missouri, they are known for their culture of integrity, technical excellence, and long‑standing client relationships. Leadership continuity is a hallmark of the firm, with many project managers rising through the organization over decades.

The firm is seeking a Structural Project Manager to join its growing Building Structures team. This role focuses on delivering structural engineering services for building‑related projects across municipal, educational, commercial, and community sectors. You will manage projects from concept through construction, coordinate with internal multi‑discipline teams, collaborate with architects and public clients, and provide mentorship to developing engineers.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, analysis, and design of building structural systemsCoordinate project scopes, schedules, budgets, and documentationServe as client liaison and ensure successful project deliveryConduct site reviews, assessments, and field observations as requiredMentor junior engineers in technical development and project executionWork collaboratively with other civil, structural, transportation, and site development teamsProject TypesThe Building Structures group supports a wide range of impactful projects, including:

Municipal and public service facilitiesEducational and campus structuresCommercial building renovations and expansionsStructural rehabilitation and settlement remediationCampus quads, civic plazas, ADA improvements, and community spacesThese projects contribute directly to community development, accessibility, and long‑term infrastructure resilience.
