Full Job Description Job Summary:
Rhode Island Restoration, a leading disaster restoration and construction company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. We specialize in providing comprehensive restoration and construction services to residential and commercial clients in need of repair after damages caused by water, fire, smoke, and mold. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, implementation, and tracking to ensure timely and effective project delivery. Responsibilities:
  • Manage residential and commercial emergency mitigation and restoration projects.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of job sites and provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs.
  • Oversee a team of field workers, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Skills:
  • Experience in a commercial and residential construction management role.
  • Experience with hazardous waste removal, such as asbestos, lead, mold, required.
  • Experience with restoration and mitigation services required.
  • Experience with Xactimate or Xactanalysis preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential codes and regulations.
  • Ability to manage a job site from start to finish.
  • Proven expertise in construction estimation, including cost and labor estimates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable vehicle to commute to and from work, as well as to job sites as needed.

As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our projects are completed with precision, attention to detail, and adherence to the highest industry standards. As a Project Manager, you would be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week through normal business operating hours.
