Job Description
SixAxis designs and manufactures advanced products that increase safety and boost productivity around the globe. We innovate new products and processes for our customers that drive safer, smarter, and more effective solutions. Our continued growth requires us to add a talented individual to join our team as a Project Manager at either our Sumter, SC or Andrews, SC offices. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to the project's scope, schedule, and budget. Work with a cross-functional team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and quality assurance teams. Facilitate regular project status meetings, reporting on progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders. Implement and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring all necessary adjustments are documented and approved. Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise. Apply knowledge of PMP principles and best practices to ensure project success. Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members, addressing any concerns or conflicts promptly and professionally. Ensure all project deliverables are completed to a high standard and in line with client expectations. Perform project closure activities, including lessons learned, documentation handover, and final reporting. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or Project Management). PMP certification required. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a new product development environment. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proficient in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
